the way he speaks is like he is reading right out of the actors handbook... I mean he kisses up to the acotrs and pauses so much , the words he uses are someting out of shakespear not an interview... idk just gets to me sometimes... I like the show a lot and Mr. Lipton but still does anyone else think this?

shareHe is the president or dean of the Actor's Studio and he probably thinks it makes him sound more actor like. Think about it. Why do actors/actresses always put on those fake English accents? They want to sound Shakespearean and sophisticated.
