For all you who haven't yet got the new series...
Here's a basic first impression of the first episode:
It's the end of the season and the news of UEFA's descision to relegate the Dragons has now reached the players. Boyle appeals to the FA, who insist the relegation stands. The club begins the season having been taken over by an Irish millionaire playboy(whose name escapes me) with his tough-guy Scottish manager. (Whose name also escapes me.) Along with them come two new signings from Chelsea; Tommy Valentino (who has been forced out for sleeping with a team mate's wife) and Stone, a hardcase defender.
The first episode's mainly about Clyde. He refuses to play in the first division and wants to be transferred to a Premiership club. The only problem is that none of them want him because of his attitude. What's worse is that the manager's forcing him to play in centre midfield while new-boy Valentino plays in his place on the right. The only club that would sign him are Norwich, but first he must impress their scout in the Brighton game. He then spectacularly cocks it up. To top off a bad week, he has also developed a nasty feud with the new manager.
That's just the first episode, thought I'd help you DT fans in the states (and everywhere that hasn't got it yet)
