David was caught having an affair with Lynda's assistant (the owner's daughter). At first he was fired but then given his job back. David thought it would be too embarrasing so he resigned. Monday was put in as caretaker manager.
You also missed Jamie and Tash getting into a fight about getting involved with Karl's bribe to Victoria(?). Sorry some names are slipping from my mind at the moment. Jamie moved out. Tash has a one night stand with Monday. That is why the tension between Monday and the team, not to mention Jamie.
