So, how was Casey able to crush the guys legs with the trucks, when he is spotted in the crowd as it happens?

The murders at the very beginning are not "within" the movie being made, right?

Christine and T.J. had quit, resulting in her sex scene being shot with Jennifer filling in. But by the climax, they are back. Were the character rehired? Also, breaking her nose caused it to grow?

Casey is killing people involved in the shoot, in ways that people are being killed in the movie being shot, right?

These questions really don't matter, as the movie itself makes light of it's lack of continuity and ridiculousness. When I first saw it many years ago(after skipping a screening of it at DragonCon years prior), I was disgusted, and actually wanted to throw the tape away. I ended up keeping it, and watched it again with a friend. I realized how funny it was(the foley/ADR/sound effects leave me in stitches), and how much heart was in it. Long live Troma.

"So, how was Casey able to crush the guys legs with the trucks, when he is spotted in the crowd as it happens?"
No one was in the cars. According to the commentary, it's one of the few accidental deaths in the movie.

"The murders at the very beginning are not "within" the movie being made, right?"
It's Casey killing random people that might have some connections to the movie. The movie Larry Benjamin is making is Toxic Avenger 4.

"Christine and T.J. had quit, resulting in her sex scene being shot with Jennifer filling in. But by the climax, they are back. Were the character rehired?"
Yes.

"Also, breaking her nose caused it to grow?"
It got swollen.

"Casey is killing people involved in the shoot, in ways that people are being killed in the movie being shot, right?"
Yes. Joe Fleishaker's death is a clear indication of that.

Sleep All Day. Party All Night. It's fun to Be A Vampire.
