Why wasn't this released on DVD?

It can't be a music issue. Most of it was original.

That's something I find myself wondering often. I really wish Disney would release some of their older stuff from the late 90's and early 00's, like So Weird, cause people like me who grew up with that stuff and miss it and wish they could still watch it would buy it in a heartbeat.

I listen to it on YouTube all the time. Very soulful and original.

That's the mystery that I don't think we're ever going to get an answer to. Some people would say it's a popularity issue, but I have to disagree since letting a release happen would bridge generations for Disney kids (both current and former). Hell, it would be a smart thing to do since it would generate a damn good profit.

I find it especially strange that shows like The Zack Files and Strange Days at Blake Holesy High (which had similar amounts of popularity) all got some form of a dvd release, but there's nothing for this. Even more so that Disney has no problem with getting accounts that host episodes terminated.

The most it seems we can do is petition to get the series (and the soundtrack) released so we can enjoy it, since it's a shame that one channel who has some of the original soundtrack up (without any interruptions) said they just wanted to "give back to the fans who have been robbed 16 years to hear this". Just seeing an HD quality episode would be a miracle in of itself.
