If the movie didn't take place on one day...
What if roller coaster took place in a time span of lets say... a summer, ending in the park and suicide. Would the film still have the dark, depressing feel that made roller coaster, rollercoaster?
sharewell the whole theme of the movie had to do with roller coasters...if you take that out it can't hve that whole mood ... I think however scott smith decided to do this movie, it would of worked
shareI don't think it would have been as good, because with one day, It's like, that's all they have left. They have to live while they can. If it was a summer, it just wouldn't be as...idk, important.

I think it would work either way, setting it across the pan of one summer would still be effective because when the summer was starting to end, the tension would keep building.
