I'd personally give it a 5. If you want something cute and quirky to watch, give it a go. You've got a little bit of loving, a couple of laughs, some sentimentalism and even a couple of punches thrown into a 90-somthing minute movie. Aesthetically it's quite appealing to look at - the sets are often bright, exotic and alluring.
The plot, as I said is definitely cutesy, but if you're looking for a serious exploartion of lesbian themes in a movie, this isn't really an option. As someone mentioned the characters are often 1 or 2 dimensional at best. The sex scenes aren't half bad but I don't think they can redeem the constant stereotyping or cliches.
It's fun to watch. That isn't to say it's GOOD to watch. The plot COULD be taken seriously towards the end when the mother and daughter confront each other about the latter one's sexuality but that's just about it. Try to take one character seriously in this movie and you'll hate it for stereotyping just about ANYTHING and EVERYTHING forever.
