id give it about a 7. its a pretty good film all round, a nice light hearted film that still manages to hit some important issues at the same time.

I think u should wash your beard then shave it off nail it 2 a Frisbee and fling it over a rainbow

i agree

Nope. Watched it as a part of a group I'm in, and it is one of the most horribly cliched movies I've ever seen in my life. The acting isn't particularly great, and the characters are all one-dimensional stereotypes.

Ann-Marie MacDonald is the best thing in it.

The whole thing was pretty trite and predictable, and the acting and writing a bit amateurish. The lesbian love scenes made it all worthwhile, though. The movie wasn't anywhere near as good as "Personal Best", but the sex scenes were much hotter.

I'd personally give it a 5. If you want something cute and quirky to watch, give it a go. You've got a little bit of loving, a couple of laughs, some sentimentalism and even a couple of punches thrown into a 90-somthing minute movie. Aesthetically it's quite appealing to look at - the sets are often bright, exotic and alluring.

The plot, as I said is definitely cutesy, but if you're looking for a serious exploartion of lesbian themes in a movie, this isn't really an option. As someone mentioned the characters are often 1 or 2 dimensional at best. The sex scenes aren't half bad but I don't think they can redeem the constant stereotyping or cliches.

It's fun to watch. That isn't to say it's GOOD to watch. The plot COULD be taken seriously towards the end when the mother and daughter confront each other about the latter one's sexuality but that's just about it. Try to take one character seriously in this movie and you'll hate it for stereotyping just about ANYTHING and EVERYTHING forever.
