I need some help!

I need to find GL&T film clips with a liberation theme for a class. By liberation themes I mean clips that show the pain of oppression and the strength of of overcoming that oppression. I am neither gay nor lesbian, and the best I have been able to do was look on the net. There usually is not much more than a blurb on the sites. I thought that someone might be able to make a suggestion or two. My project is due 11/11. Thanks
