Maggies Apartment

I really enjoy this movie. I was raised in a house where the television was ALWAYS on. So even if I'm not watching it, I feel weird if the tv is not on. But since I don't have cable I run dvds. This is one I often play because it never stops being a pleasant story. But nobody mentioned how VISUALLY APPEALING this movie is. Even if the story is kinda weak in places...maybe a little corny sometimes, I LOVE the lighting and saturated colors in the movie. Especially the scenes in Maggies apartment. I would lie, cheat, and steal for that apartment with all that sunlight and impossible colors on the walls. I just know if I try to replicate that in my own apartment I'll just hate it. :(

One thing that always irked me in the movie was the mom with the vibrator scene...who would just go and use a vibrator that they found in a box under the bed? You know it belongs to somebody else! Did you even wash it? Damn.

Oh, goodbye mama. I'll never do dishes again.
