Weird...I haven't seen those other ones, but I actually didn't think this one was all that hard to watch. It was a bit shocking at first, but the gory scenes went on for so long that I found myself getting desensitized very quickly.

The Guinea Pig films and Naked Blood I've seen. Kichiku is much more intense and brutal but I wouldn't consider it gorier than Flowers of Flesh and Blood, that one was ridiculously gratuitous with extreme gut close ups and severed limbs. I'd say Kichiku is at about the same level of Naked Blood though quantity wise.
shareI almost turned it off at the 40 minute mark. It was so boring. I kept thinking "Why did I want to see this movie?", but the forest scene happened and it captured my attention.
This is a second half movie.

How strange. In my opinion those movies are gorier than this one. This had a few standardish gore scenes, and that's all.
