Better than I expected

This forgotten film is contrived at times, as most romantic comedies are, but I found it surprisingly entertaining thanks to its appealing cast and warm heart. It feels like a '40s screwball comedy with '90s sensibilities. The supporting characters seem stronger than the leads, but everyone's up to the task here. 7/10 stars from me.
