Footage lifted from Juggernaut
Having just watched the online trailer, it appears that lots of the external footage of the ocean liner is taken from the British film "Juggernaut" - one of my favourite films.

shareThere is *alot* of footage from other movies, like the flying-scenes in the beginning which are obviously taken from the plane/dirtbike-race in Iron Eagle, you could even see the goal posts in the end.
Generally speaking the footage in this movie was some of the worst i've seen, the "engine-room" had concrete pillars (obvious footage from a powerplant or something), the plane that came towards the ship before "everything happened" changed from one type to another when they used what i guess was U.S Navy Seals training footage etc etc.
Still. Erika Eleniak is a gorgeous woman, low-cut tshirt or not.
Having sat thru this film, I recognized the ship sinking scene lifted from The Last Voyage w/Robert Stack. I easily recognized Juggernaut . Didn't the director think the viewers would notice Union Jack flags on the parachutes?
