Only flaw in Season 6 is I'm not buying Angela and Adam

I'm still not buying that this Hot, young and smart woman would be so in love with 50 plus Adam.

He's forty-eight, if it helps.

Me neither. I don't think we're supposed to buy it though. Ever since episode 1, it pretty much telegraphs that Adam will settle with his landlady who is closer to his age, gets why he prefers his friends over his new wife etc. Angela is completely out of pace with everyone and it's not her age that's the problem. For me it's that she's a completely 1 dimensional character used just to bring Adam back to England and to his son/friends.

I think Tiger Cat hit the nail on the head -- it's clear the writers want the landlady to come to the fore in Adam's life, and Angela's incompatibility with Adam means that marriage was just a way to bring him back to the UK and clear the decks for a new love interest.

Bit odd though, as there are other ways that could have been achieved I guess. She really was a one-dimensional token though.
