Why didn't she just dump Lance?
If she didn't like the fact that he was promiscuous she should've just left instead of sinking down to his level. At least, that's what I would've done.

Sorry this is a yr late but just rewatched it today & my view is that he had good qualities minus the whole cheating deal. So she perhaps would have dumped him but figured she wasn't going to find another good man like him. I personally thought her choosing his BF to mess w/ was a wrong move especially since she considered him a close friend as well.
