Was this film released in the UK? Will it come out on DVD in the UK?

I can't remember this film getting distribution over here, and it still isn't out on DVD.

I tried to get in touch with the prodco (Freeway Films) but they appear to have gone off the map - perhaps they have folded. I know the founder, John McGrath, passed away about three years ago, so this may have been part of the reason)

Perhaps that's the reason why the film hasn't had a proper run over here.

Anyone have any further information?

If the current distributors simply cannot do it, or are no longer in existance, how can another company take up the mantle?

This film was never released theatrically in the UK nor has it ever been released on DVD, which is an absolute shocker! I have been trying to find a distributor in the UK for it. So far nothing... I know Lena Headey is still upset that Aberdeen was never released in the UK! It is available in the US, but I guess that isn't much use.

Very strange that a film titled Aberdeen was never released in the UK, i had never even heard of it and i am from Aberdeen, i just came across it when i recognised a character from Dexter but couldn't remember what from and saw Aberden in her list of flims she had acted in.

If you still can't get a copy you could always stream it on line which i am doing just now.
