Space Machines?

Hi there, I'm hoping someone can help. I think I remember sometimes seeing "space machines" when you 'looked' through the polka dot door. It's a long time ago though, and I can't remember if it was this show or another one. They were on some sort of planet, and were fighting each other. I *think* it might have been stop motion or something, that sort of thing. Can anyone help me out? I'd love to see clips of those again.
