New show Valentine

...starting on the CW this October. It sounds a lot like Cupid, but not as good of course. There doesn't seem to be a question that the matchmakers really are Greek gods. I liked that Trevor could have been either, and quite probably was human. It made the series real and heartfelt and - yes, human. Something about having a team of matchmakers doesn't sound appealing to me, either.

Cupid had been a substitute for Lois & Clark for me, and then I decided it was a great show in its own right. Oh well, I'll probably see what the Cupid substitutes are like (Valentine and the new Cupid), but I seriously doubt they'll exceed my expectations like Cupid did.
