Does Shu Qi play a different character in all these movies?

Does Shu Qi play a different character in all these movies?
I have seen five and six and also portland street blues which was a spinoff about Thirteen. Shu qi had a different role in each. i thought this is a series. Also, anyone know why one is well made with good quality film stock and the next is crap?
Are these low budget movies over there or considered big movies?
Anyone know.

I can't really remember but I think they all are different characters. I know for sure the prequel and psb were different. I had thought she played Ekin's girl in 5 and 6 but it's been too long to remember correctly.

Yeah just watched them all again. She plays the same character in 5 and 6, but they are different from the prequel and PSB.
