Was this a 3D movie?

I remember watching a softporn movie in Scottsdale, AZ in the early '70's. It was softporn, 3D, and about Stewardesses. I thought the title was "The Stewardesses", but I have never found it on the net. This is as close as I get, but there is never a mention about it being shot in 3D. Can anyone help?

Yes, it was in 3D.

As a matter of fact it is the most successful and highest grossing 3D movie of all time.

Second is "House Of Wax" with Vincent Price.

I definitely recall seeing a 3D film called "The Stewardesses" in Philadelphia, PA in the late '60's or early '70's. I recall one hilarious scene where one of the girls is in bed on her back with a guy on top of her and her thrashing legs came out of the screen over the audience. Just hysterical!

I seem to remember that the girls also worked for a private detective agency and would secretly film themselves having sex with men they were trying to get the goods on. Although that might have been another movie altogether. If so, it was done in the same softcore style as "The Stewardesses", but not necessarily in 3D.

Whatever movie that was (with the secret filming) I clearly remember that one of the girls was the spitting image of Shirley Jones (yes, the mother of the Partridge Family). I've always wondered if that was her or not. Does anyone know?

Yes, it was absolutely in 3-D. It was the first 3-D as well as the first X-rated movie I ever saw. My older cousin took me to see it when I was 18 (the age restriction for X-rated fare was 21 at the time)

Whether it was a good movie or not is debatable, but it definitely got me hooked on 3-D for life!

I actually have a 3-D system at home that converts even live TV to real 3-D, and I also go to every 3-D movie that comes out - the latest was 'Meet The Robinsons' just yesterday. It was preceded by an old Chip & Dale cartoon, 'Working For Peanuts', that was great in 3-D as well.

How the heck do you have a 3-D system at home? That sounds like the best thing ever.

I used to live in Scottsdale in the late 60s and I vaguely remember this film being shown at the Camelview Cinemas (Near Fashion Square). Does that sound familiar? A couple years later I also saw a 3D release of CREATURE FROM THE BLACK LAGOON and IT CAME FROM OUTER SPACE at the same theatre. Thanks, Channing

There is this web site called "IMDB" that has information about this movie. That information, right there for everyone to see, includes details about how the movie was shot in 3D. Check it out.

Oh, wait! This IS that site!
