im reading the book for school right now. the teacher said we will be watching the movie but hopefully i'll get to watch it first.

The movie is a terrible adaption. Don't waste your time.
Read then watch "The Accidental Tourist" instead.
I agree. The book is one of my favorites. I read it every couple of years.
It deserved the same treatment as Accidental Tourist. I say we call for a remake!
