If I could have gone to any concert ever done in history (by any artist) this would have been it!

I can watch the double DVD over and over. It's heartbreaking to think he'd be gone in four years because he had it all in this concert.

Why ain't you at the garden party you heathen?

What's amazing is how good Elvis looks here, just a few years before he died. He's a bit hefty, but he still has the energy and the voice. It seems like his decline was pretty rapid. How soon after this concert did he let it all go?

In that case, the "Aloha" in this title is very ironic. It looks like Elvis really let himself go after his divorce from Priscilla, and the factor that the caretakers who were responsible for his well-being were the ones giving him drugs contributed to his downfall. How sad that this concert marked the end of Elvis' career as a vital entertainer – as well as the last time the public would see him as a healthy, energetic and very much alive human being.
