is this a good movie? i haven't seen it befor. could someone plz tell me what it is about? i only heard about it because i'm a fan of daniel radcliffe. i know in this movie daniel radcliffe plays young david copperfield but is it an imortant role? could someone please explain to me what the role is? and does any one know if it is released in the U.S.? sorry if i have too many questions but i've never seen it befor and was wondering alot about it.

this one is amazing.I thought Daniel was fantastic in Harry Potter but for me he was even better in David Copperfield.He played the main role in the first part of the film (there are two parts).Each part is a single film and the first one lasts about 2 hours so you can watch Dan for a long time:-).There is a scene when Daniel kisses a girl and when he is beaten by his stepfather...

in the book and movie young david kisses emily peggoty because when they both were young they had this young crush fling thing (young love) ... then later as they grow up they kinda grow out of it, emily falls in love with Ham but then she falls hard for Steerforth and they run off ... and David falls in love with Dora, but then he later realizes that it's not dora he loves but someone else.
Contrary to most people, i find that 'David Copperfield' and 'the Great Expectations' are the best novels by Charles Dickens. 'Christmas Carol' is dry and though the plot is ingenious, i thought the narrative style was boring ... 'Tales of Two Cities' is alright, but it is very melodramatic and the characters are really annoying, Darnay, Carton etc ...

why don't u just donload the movie or rent it? It takes shorter time than sitting and waiting for people to answer your questions of what it is about.
I wouldn't wait anyway, just the idea to see Daniel so young and sweet would make me run like quicksilver and rent it...or download it, I'm lazy... ;-)

im in 8th grade, and my advanced english class just finished reading david copperfield, and so now were watching the movie. its good so far, we got to the part where david arrives at salem house. daniel radcliffe is soooo adorable!! :)

shareDaniel Radcliffe was so good in this and soooo adorable. I can certainly see why they wanted him for Harry Potter after they saw him in this. I would love for them to remake the second half of this David Copperfield (after the HP movies are done) with Dan playing the part of older David also! The part where young David fades into older David on the piano bench would be so cool if it were young Daniel becoming grown up Dan!

shareYou can buy it online on the Exxon Masterpiece website. That's how I got mine. It's actually very convenient, the DVD comes in this sleek box with one disc where both parts are on that one disc. Like I said, very convenient. It's in excellent condition, I love my David Copperfield DVD. :D
