Imagine this movie, now imagine it with half stop-motion. Now imagine it really trippy, like more trippy than the disney movie or book. It blows the lid off of any other Alice movie ever made. At least it's different.
shareI've seen another film by Svankmeyer and I don't like his style(I can't stand stop-motion). I prefer the Alice film by Jonathan Miller. Great acting, no stupid animal costumes and full of atmosphere (although it's black&white)......It's different, too.

Oh, and have you seen Svankmajer's Jabberwocky? It was the first film I'd ever seen by him....it was on my Cinema 16 DVD...and it's still my favorite short.
