Was Kate Beckinsale pregnant?
Someone told me Kate Beckinsale was pregnant while making this film and the dates (released december 1998, daughter born january 1999) seem to watch up. Is it visible on screen?

If you're attentive, you can notice it at the beginning before she falls asleep reading. Note the way she carries herself. Also, you can see a little belly on her in a profile shot.
After she goes into the looking glass, however, they do a good job of hiding it with wardrobe and camera angles.
BOO!
I think she sort of hints at her pregnancy when she plays the mother talking to her daughter re tiredness and looking worn out.
