I love both Juliette Lewis and William Hurt but both seemed to pretty much sleepwalk thru this fairly terrible flick.
It was watchable as the general idea was good, the scenery and actors were cool, but the movie as a whole was really done very poorly.
So many rip off cliche's in the storyline, and the directing seemed to be trying to go Hitchock-ian but ended up just all choppy and dull.
I bought my copy at Dollar Tree. Considering I only spent a buck on it, I thought the film was alright. Hurt was kinda boring in this film, but I think it may have been his character... I never realized what a sweet ass Juliette Lewis has! Or had... Back in '99...
Anyway, I know this film is a pastiche of many different horror/thriller movies, and it's by no means an A+ production. But as a cheapy independent "B" movie... I've seen loads worse.
