what's with all the astronaut jokes

it seems like there is a running joke about astronauts and how that are low lives. The brain transplant group had an astronaut speaker, the astronaut who's mission went wrong and is now being raped. "I had an astronaut move into my neighborhood last fall and all the leaves fell off the trees. the bus driver lady who sat on a kid's dad and he was never able to make it into the space program.

Anyone notice this?

They actually just don't like astronauts. I guess they find astronauts to be conceited. Plus, it's funny.

They takes all our tax dollars just to space out on us. Then they want to mix with normal people and spread their cosmic ideology to try and convince red blooded earthlings that somehow our world isn't good enough.
