I have to say the one about the "Ugly Club"

"Just Like in Gummo!"

"little donnie" and the "birthday restaurant" episodes are hard to choose between.

There's a lot, I like the "Story of the Toad" episode, the part where they are practicing for the wedding and the girl claims she was a unicorn in the school play, and her step-father says, "You were a horse, I read the program." The intro to the virtual reality episode is great too, when he's swinging the lamp around the office.

There is a show that had a skit in it that a woman employee was being harassed by a co-worker and he kept motioning "slitting his throat" and saying "Kill, kill, kill you!!!" Was this an Upright Citizen's Brigade episode? or am I just loosing my mind?

Small Town - hands-down the funniest half-hour to ever air on television. From the small town meeting ("then how come in college your nickname was sh*tty the sh*t-looker?" "That was for entirely different reasons!"), Boston album cover, "dolphins can suck it!", fake highway to watch the old man pick up garbage...just well-conceived, brilliantly-executed sketches and probably the most solid UCB episode in total. The payoff at the end is priceless. If only Comedy Central would release seasons 2 & 3 on DVD. DAMN YOU BONG BOY!

"Keep Ted Turner and his goddamned Crayolas away from my movie." - Orson Welles.

Oh man, I just finished watching the first two seasons. Genius stuff it's a shame it got cancelled. My favorite part was in 'Supercool' where the actor of Bay Biker was so hard up for cash that he had to do throwing star porno. The thought of a throwing star porno was hilarious and when they actually show the throwing star porno I laughed alot.

If anyone is looking for a UCB 'substitute' (termed substitute loosely :P), I suggest checking out Stella, the predicaments the three guys get into are about as absurd as this show.

It's gotta be the Wolfman Jack Doorbell...

"Someone's at the door baby, woooo!"

I can't believe no one had mentioned the Baby Racers episode. Specifically the Master Dialectitian

"You have obvious talent Owen, but I can teach you over 50 varieties of gay lisp. Sure, you can do the gay San Francisco waiter, or the gay New York City art gallery owner, but can you do a gay actuary? A gay fish .. and game warden?"

reply

Master Dialectitian is easily in my top 5

Chalk: "ching-chong-cha-chi-pang!"
DrKingsman: "THAT WAS NOT MY FAULT!"

My all time favorite has to be the Bucket of Truth though... just EVERYTHING about that episode had me in stiches.

reply

Master Dialectitian is great but I also really like the Cakewalk one with the "Jumping Party" LOL! That one also had Captian Lunatic's son playing the telephone! I LOVE UCB! I can't believe they only released the 1st season on DVD.

Boone: John? You been using that wacky paste stuff that made me think my sister got eaten?
