Ok...when TRL first started I was 5 or 6 [ i'm 15 now ]
Carson had the best personality for hosting the show, and it was completely live, right?
They played full videos, and the voting was actually FOR the video, not ringtone sales, internet views and whatever the hell they're doing now, right?
Damien...I don't know how he got the job, he seems nice and all, but all the jokes that are written for him or whatever, he ALWAYS says them with an unsure tone in his voice, they're never funny.
Lindsay...oh GOD she annoys me, again, maybe she's really nice, but she laughs at her own jokes and she's pretty opinionated.

Now that it's being cancelled, it really doesn't surprise me.
I stopped watching [ religiously ] when carson left.
Now I watch it every now and then, but never fully, it's slow and dull now.

Who else wishes we could all go back to the Britney, Christina, Eminem, Blink-182, Boy band days of TRL?

Honestly, music has gone downhill to me, it all sucks now =/

How will we see the newest videos now?

So it's over for good. WOW. Hard to believe. Why would they let if continue for this long then just pull it like that?

MTV shouldn't even be called MTV- Music Television

It's not all about the music anymore since a LOOOOOOOOOONg time ago

trl is ending? when did this happen. i just found out 2day when i watched trl. i like grew up watching trl everyday. this is a shocker

I agree, MTV shouldnt even be called MTV anymore it should be something with the intials RS, reality shows cause thats all it is anymore, its very sad. i was 17 when this first started and now I am 26 going on 27. I use to watch it all the time up until the last couple years then I just watched it every couple of months to see what was even on there. Very sad day.

Music has gone seriously gone downhill. IDK what it is, some of the music is still good, but it gets played out way too quickly. Example, TI ft Rhianna- Live your Life. Great song, but I am already sick of it cause its played out like crazy. Theres still MTV Hits, but they just play the same playlists over & over.
