'Total Request'

Does anybody remember when this show FIRST started? It was just called "Total Request" and it aired at night like at 8 or 9. I'm talking late 1997, early 1998 when it was a half hour long and it was Carson Daly in a dimly lit set and they played the 5 most requested videos? I think I watched this when it premiered, actually. Makes me feel old! I was 12 or 13 then...

Yes I do remember it. I used to watch and some times tape the music videos. Good times.
