Does Damousse/E-laine belong to James Dreyfus?

I saw an outtake from My Hero (terrible show!) where James Dreyfus had a cat - I would put money on it being the same cat in Gimme Gimme Gimme episode "Prison Visitor".

Does anyone know if the cat is actually his?

Good question the cat definetly seemed at ease tho
