Question about the 'Mama Luigi' episode

"Super Mario World" was aired on The Childrens Channel back in the 90s about 4 times, and they showed all episodes - except for this one. Now why's that?

Actually, I didn't even know this episode existed, until I found out years and years later on the internet. Why wasn't it never shown? Is it because all episodes go in pairs ( 2 episodes, each lasting about 10 minutes ) and "Mama Luigi" happened to be no. 15 so it didn't have a couple?

By the way, it's my favorite episode from this show. It has so much charm, and we really get to find out how Luigi and Yoshi met and why they have such a strong bond. It's a shame they didn't air it.

I think that when it was 1st aired in the US, the 1st 7 episodes were paired with Captain N and the remaining episodes could be joined up so in total there were 20 episodes. TCC could have only picked up 12 and I think what you said was right (Mama Luigi is episode 13 by the way). Also when the tapes came out, the Christmas episode was skipped as well but Mama Luigi was on.

Hope that helps.

PS. I also use to remember TCC for the Sonic episodes and also enjoyed Mama Luigi when it was aired on POP with A Little Learning.

I actually remember watching the Mama Luigi episode. So I guess it aired once. I swear I saw it.
