The Point
Bruce Jay Friedman stated that the point of his play is this:
Life Isn't Fair.
Hmm. I thought the ending left it open, that God might let him pursue some activities he'd wanted to accomplish before he died, such as observe the rolling of Cuban cigars on the thighs of Cuban women. Many of us might have added that to our "Bucket List".
I miss Big Band music and talented singers. Leonard Cohen is my idol. Civility, harmony, unity!
