This is a generally good play, but would not work today because of the character stereotypes. Namely, the Puerto Rican 'God' with an extremely thick accent, stereotypical for it's time, and the 2 'fags', stereotypical for this period. Some of the writers may have been 'sympathetic' but they still insisted on writing gay men as all raving queens.

Sometimes stereotypes are there for a reason. The gay men in this are nothing like most gay men I know, but I do know some fun-loving gay men just like these.

Holds up fine in my opinion. Then wasn't now.
