A little dated but still a grand entertainment

The portrayal of the gays and of the woman character are dated, but then again, aren't we really inside the head and predjudices of Bill Bixby's character? Gays would be stereotypes, and his ideal woman would be a bimbo.

The gays are just as funny today as then and very much in the vein of what Nathan Lane plays today. I found them to be one of the highlights of the show. Very funny, and I liked that they just brushed off what might be an insult (from the old man, for instance).
