There is no agreement on the total tally of senses, as so many of them are built into the brain. The above link is very basic but its a good reference.

Kinesthesia/proprioception is so central to life that it's debatably the official sixth, but considering HOW disabling it is to lose kinesthesia, I would put it at #2 after touch. Its far more important than sight, hearing, taste and smell. Probably more important than all four of those combined.
