Please let me know!!!!!!!
Leonard Shelby: Now... where was I?
Sorry, i have no idea, but:
Does this film even exist??
What is it?? if anyone knows, i want to know too.
Its made by darren aronofsky, so it must be good.
ppl who rated this move, where did you see it? please help out, best imdb score so far
sharePlease sit down for what I'm about to say.
People who rate the movies on imdb don't always see them. Some of them vote over and over again for no reason.
Wow this is an old post! Wonder if you are still looking for this movie?

i think that Supermarket sweep, protoza and fortune cookie are fake films. in that they were the first trilogy of DA's and they don't exist. watch Pi, Requiem and Fountain for clues.
HELP ME!!! I need to know if I am alone. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sFzThGyt5vM
Well that's just not true cause I have Fortune Cookie. Those 3 were all made when he was in film school so it's harder to find. But just keep looking.
I may be on the side of the angels. But do not think for a second that I am one of them.
actually i wnt to know same thing!
requiem is a perfect film! pi is very cool and good film...and..i wonder how is that movie..??
Protosoa is a movie he did as a student and has apparently not been released. Thats what it says on the Darren Aronofsky website anyway.

he made a film with Lucy Liu, while still being a student?
" Look, there's two women fuc*ing a polar bear!" - Fear And Loathing in Las Vegas 1998
There is no possible way of seeing this film unless Darren himself releases this to the public. He owns it, he decides. The plot seemed kida interetsing, and I would love to see it. It was one of his films that he made during college. And no, it is not an MP3 file on any media desktop such as Kazaa or Imesh- I looked. Update me if ther is any new info on Protozoa.

I'd love to see this too, but a reason why the rating keeps going up may be because some people are voting on it based on Darren Aronofsky's later work (Pi & Requiem).. it's not like they're barred from doing so if they haven't watched it.
Avril should be SMASHED

I just saw this movie. It's not available for the public and it won't ever get released due to legal issues (permits, rights, etc). I don't know why people have rated it so high, because it's nowhere near as good as his two features. I suggest to people to go out and read "Flicker". It's a great novel and I look forward to seeing what he does to the cinematic version.
shareMountainBiker where and how did you manage to see it? The only real chance of ever seeing it is •released at a short film festival somewhere ... or • released as an extra on one of the DVDs of upcomming Aronofsky films, such as Flicker (which looks like a promising project)As said before its rated high because people see "Darren Aronofsky" is the director... i bet most of them have not seen it.
If you just saw it, then answer the peoples' cry and explain how
til i hear how i just simply dont beleive you
-I cried when I had no shoes, until I met a man who had no feet. And then I laughed REALLY hard-
i'm not COMPLETELY sure but i'm willing to bet it's a thesis film from when he was in college. i'd really like to know the truth though too!
shareIt is his cycle film from when he was a student at AFI. The rules of the school state that no students cycle films are allowed to be released to the public. The only way you could see it is if Darren shows it to you personally, or you go and get an education at AFI. It is available to students to watch.
It is not his thesis film, because Darren was not asked to continue on to his second year at AFI.
Are you saying that he didn't graduate AFI? Wikipedia says something completely different:
Aronofsky's senior thesis film, Supermarket Sweep, was a finalist in the 1991 Student Academy Awards.[15] In 1992, Aronofsky received his MFA degree in directing from the AFI Conservatory[...]
