Translation problems.

This Soviet version is reasonably faithful to Robert Louis Stevenson's novel. It is probably quite enjoyable for a Russian audience. Unfortunately, the English dubbing, with inappropriate accents and translation, makes it sound quite absurd. Long John Silver sounds like a Pittsburgh steelworker! Even more irritating is the musical score, which combines cheesy sixties pop music with Russian folk ballads.

I saw the dubbed one and the voice seem so muc out of place and I agree about the bad score as well
