if you look really hard at the end of the movie during the end credits it says the following was based on true events and people is this true?and if it is do you know were on the internet or else were i can study up on this?

I enjoyed it from start to finish. Milo's voice alone was the stuff of nightmares! I don't care if the movie was perfect. It was original and very creepy, and that's enough for me to enjoy it!

If someone feels so strongly about hating a movie that they have to post on a board about it they probably didn't really hate it that much after all. Milo is an evil little boy and it's a fun, scary movie and we, the fans, could give a damn what anyone else thinks, really.

This is literally the worst film I've seen, and I've seen a lot of c grade films.

I gather this movie is based on true events and people insofar as it takes place on the planet Earth, which does in fact exist and contain people.
shareI just noticed this too. I find it odd and wonder what the "true" story might have been. It makes it even more creepy since you can't find any articles related to this film anywhere.

Yeah, but then look how many idiots assumed Blair Witch was true because the poster said that was the premise.

However Blair Witch was repeatedly advertised as real and based on a true story, but anyone who stayed to read the credits to see all the "WRITTEN BY" such ones could have guessed it was faked. I think the reason we're all finding it so weird that this film is supposedly based on true events is because there's no indication leading up to make us assume it's anything else than just a horrible B movie.

Why does it seem like every scary movie board I go on, someone asks the "true story?" question? I agree with the person who said it's prob BASED on true events...which could mean very very loosely based.
On another note, just because something is written doesnt mean it's fiction. Someone has to put the story on paper true or not, otherwise it'd be a documentary.
