Ending Scene

There are many parts that I love about this movie, but the ending scene with Gollum leading the hobbits and the camera rises to show Mordor along with the creepy song may be my favorite. Maybe it's just the music that is so captivating at that point or I know what is to come, but I just love the eeriness of it.

I agree, I've always felt that way too, just such a sense of foreboding and... doom

Come to think of it, isn't that name, Mount Doom, a little on the nose? Frodo is doomed to go there?
