Two quick questions about this fine movie, that sadly could have been directed better:

1. Does anyone know if Ireland Baldwin played the part of Sveva?
2. In the scene where the husband was attacked and stripped, was he just beaten or was he raped?

Thanks for asking because I had the same feeling that he was raped.
Can someone asnwer this question please?

I read the book and never read her was raped. Just robbed and beat.
