cut version?

i got this on video today, its a UK version and says on the video it is only 100 mins long. have i got the cut version and if so what exactly is cut out of it?

Don't worry too much; it IS cut, but only by 8 seconds of two closeups of a knife stabbing - the imdb runtime doesn't allow for UK pal speedup as it's using the US runtime.

I just got done watching my copy of this film this morning, and mine was 99 minutes long (or 101 if you count the trailer that came on after the credits).
Either way, it doesn't quite add up to the 105 minutes.
It didn't seem cut at all, the 8 seconds mentioned in the cut version is still present in mine, I do not have a UK copy, so conversion speed is not the factor...
So, I don't really know what to think.
