Me too - and the sequel, Gate to the Mind's Eye. Somehow around the age of 15 or so I stopped watching it and then forgot about it for 10 years. And I'm so disappointed by the fact that no one I've brought them up to has heard of the series. I'm in love with the DVDs that SIGGRAPH puts out, but they don't have the magic for me that these films do.

I bought this on LaserDisk and would just have it play in the background as it was a visual and audio treat. It was always an immersive experience just to experience and it led me to want to upgrade my home video to better appreciate the artistry.

The reference standard for this has long since moved quite higher but in the early 90's this was excellent.
