This movie was made in 2000 and is considered no. 3 in the row of An American Tail-movies, but there's also the movie "An American Tail: The Mystery of the Night Monster" from 1999 - http://www.imdb.com /title/tt0197230/ - which is written and directed by the same people as this movie, thus making this one the 4th.

Howcome this one is considered the 3rd movie?

This movie was actually made in 1998 but not released in the US until 2000, so that's why.

I've noticed that this mvie was in the 2000 section, So IMDB have now corrected the error as it's now in the 1998 section.
