WES CRAVEN??

I mean, its not like this movie was terrible, and I understand a director wanting to try something new once in a while....But Wes Craven directing Music of the Heart?? Uhh....

And in the trivia for the film, it says that he would only make another sequel to Scream if they would allow him to make Music of the Heart...If I were the producer listening to his demands, I'd think I was being punk'd.

Anyone else find it odd?

Agreed. But I prefer this to crap like Cursed from him anyway. That movie was just embarrasing.

It's currently playing on Starz and the scene where her two sons come in and play violin along with her just played. I saw one of them and thought to myself "WoW, that's Michael Angarano. But before I could confirm this I too saw Wes Craven as the director and let out a "holy s**t, are you serious?" One of the last things I expect to see from one of the best horror movie directors of all time but, it is nice to see him throw something new at you every once in a while.

Oh, I know. You need to get the soundtrack of this movie. There are a lot of good songs that they only play a minute or two of in this film, or a condensed version. The song Turn The Page has a longer, much better version on the soundtrack. I was flabbergasted when I found out Wes Craven directed this film. I never thought he would direct a "chick flick" where they just sit and talk at a table, and nothing really happens in it.

Well Why not he prob needed a fresh challenge

HAHA! I know! I saw this movie when I was a young lad. And I was like 'eh...typical sop drama teacher-teaches-wrong-side-o'-the-track kids to be awesome'. Then Mum rented it and we watched again, and I actually thought it was pretty good. Then just now I saw Wes Craven directed!

And I'm like, woah! Mind explosion!

It blew my mind! He should try stuff outside his genre more often - he did a nice job with this one!

Well, ça c'est 'The Meaning of Life'.
