First saw this...

When I was about 8 and my sister was 6. My mom bought this for us to watch as we were big scooby doo fans. Scared the hell out of us! I am now 14 and a horror movie fan-about to watch it for the second time in my life. But I'd like to hear others opinions: Does anyone else think it was too scary for kids? It's like an adult version of the series!

It seemed a bit more intense than most Scooby episodes, but it wasn't too scary for kids. Are You Afraid of the Dark on Nickelodeon had already done much more terrifying things for 7 seasons before this came out... as far as kids are concerned at least. But kids need intense and scary programming. Look at me, I saw Pet Sematary when I was 3, and now I'm sleeping through the Excorcist.

i was 5 when this came out on tv, it scared me then, but now I think it is the best Scooby movie made, the dark style makes it better to me, now anyway. It is probably suited for kids at least 10 I'd say. If you don't want nightmares for your kids.

I was 14 when this movie came out and remember renting it from the video store. I loved it then, then got it for Christmas that year. Now I'm 24 and I still love the movie.

I first saw this movie when I was in the third grade and it didn't scare me. It scared my first grader brother because I remember having to tell him the ending.

I was in kindergarten when it came out. It scared me but I watched it all.

I saw this when I was 5, and I actually liked it. It was a bit creepy in certain parts, but it's fun being creeped out as a kid.

Its on right now, I was flipping through channels and saw it on. I had to stop and watch a bit for old times sake haha

I was about 8 when I saw it. I was truly scared. The zombies were a bit creepy, but... the "cats"!!! I couldn't believe I was watching Scooby Doo. I felt like the gang was not going to make it this time. It's amazing how attached to the story I felt when I was a kid watching these kinds of things.
