I am so sad....
I really enjoyed this movie (I really like the two lead actors) but I was so sad when I saw that David Vanable was the credit for writing this movie. This movie IS the book The Face by Marvin Werlin and then later a movie called A Face to Die For. There are a few changes but very few. I enjoy remakes and know that very few movies are originals these days but also think original books or movies should be credited.
