Impressive but hard pictures!

I must say that I find the view of most critics on this film a little to harsh.
Maybe you should take a step back and look around ... there are more then one view of things and if YOU don't agree with the "message of the movie" maybe your mind isn't able to bend enough (Remeber : Spoon in Matrix!) to accept a different view... The Movie doesn't show to many new things but it shows them in very deep visual subconscious ways. Well maybe I enjoyed the Movie more then most of you did but as an Opend-Minded person I can lean back and enjoy this kind of Picture.

No Doupt! It's intense and not good for a chilly popcorn evening watching movies with your partner or friends!

This Movie has it's moments... even if they could be see as the Sick insights of a Mass-Murder or the Anti-Christ-Visons of arabian Suicide-Bomber... or just the Visual-Vision of a 19-Year-Old. If you consider yourself a mentaly healthy person, that can take "strong" pictures, I would say give it try and look at it!

The Visuals and Sound Composing are great and have a good timing!

I consider it a Day-Dream of a Man-Searching-God-And-Finding-Empty-Space and a lot of the Story as Cruel-Subconscious-Monologs. Wake up after watching it and return to your shared "Reallity", with Bunuel (I love him) and David Lynch ruling the State of the Art.

This movie Ranks in the same Space as the "Creammaster Cycles" if you skip the spoken messages and the gore.

best regards.

Wow, I hope you're being sarcastic.

If not, it seems as though you're being the close-minded one here. We 'critics' thought the movie was a large, stinky pile of gorilla dung. In fact, I would rather have seen a movie revolve around gorilla dung than watch "Subconscious Cruelty" ever again.

If we are to accept that there are those out there that like this movie, how about you open your mind a little and realize that there is a very large majority of viewers that hate it, and our dislike of it doesn't make us close-minded. Maybe you enjoyed the movie, and I really didn't, it's simply a matter of taste. So what?

Then again, I'm probably wasting my words. "Open-minded" people like yourself usually find it hard to believe there are different opinions other than your own. If there are, obviously you are the superiour one in thought. Note the sarcasm here, it's getting bone-dry.

Who sounds like an assclown, TheElusiveHooves?  They sound reasonable to me.

Regardless, the OP sounds like the results of one of those random-text generators. Plug in a few keywords and it generates almost readable, yet still gibberish text. I’ve seen a few of them posted in the IMDB forums and always seem to generate confusion and backlash.
