What???!!!! Where is the body...(spoilers)

Ok... what the hell was with the ending? I saw the orignial, and that made sense and stuff. But they were all upset that they couldnt prove they were killers and then they started the "love scene" and it ended on the statue... I dont get it! Where is the body? It isnt in the statue, then where is iot? is it upstairs in the crate? if it is, then why doesnt the movie end on the crate?? What the ****?!

The crate the murderer sent out was sent upstairs to the gallery. The statue at the end was the one her body was in. The statue at the new office? buiding was one that was commissioned and finished months ago. Remember, he was 6 months in the hospital, and he approved that design the day of his accident. They focused on the one at the end to show us there were 2 done. Jason couldn't see the one in the gallery since it wasn't in front of the window.

That is the point. It is in that statue that we see at the end. There was another statue they didn't know about.

I don't see how he could not have known where the body was. He saw the crate leave Thorpe's apartment and he saw the same crate in the gallery upstairs.

^^true, prof. It's confusing.

Exactly. That is what confused me, because once I saw the crate/statue move upstairs I kept wondering why they weren't focusing on it. Because as you said, it was in his line of vision. Haha at least the movie didn't end how I kept thinking it might. I was expecting everything to be in his mind, all made up characters because his imagination was running wild. At least that didn't happen. It was good for a made for television, but unsatisfying.
