John Goodman is NOT in this movie

I know that the VHS box says it's John as the voice of the parrot, I have a sealed copy, but he did not do the voice of the parrot or any other role in this movie. I actually went as far as to call his office, and they verified that it's not him.

The real actor who did the voice of the parrot is Daniel Murphy (he's also the Pet Shop Owner). He is listed in the closing credits for doing both roles.

I just wanted to get it strait because it keeps flipping back and forth as to who did the parrot's voice.

John Goodman's voice isn't in my copy of the film either. But this is definitely his voice in this trailer https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=d6eSMtmtgUY.

So he probably did do the voice in the American version of the film.

I have the VHS and DVD (which unfortunately is Area; Australia, so I can't play it any longer on my US player. I had a Macintosh computer that allowed playing a few times a non-US area DVD but it won't play on it any longer.)

The DVD version did have Mac voiced by the pet shop owner. The VHS sure sounds like John Goodman to me.
