It's too bad he wasn't involved. The movie is pretty good. The world is interesting, colorful and funky. Just feels like it is missing a soul, if that makes sense.

Well, I saw "from the Director of The Nightmare Before Christmas" and immediately thought, "Oh, Tim Burton did this movie too?"
Nope. It was someone else.

More like a poor man's Tim Burton movie. Nevertheless, I kinda dig it. Though it may have its serious flaws, the wackiness and visuals make it worthwhile for me.
